Kenneth Johnston - Independent Chair

Kenneth is a Wellington barrister and past Chairman partner of Minter Ellison Rudd Watts. He specialises in commercial litigation. His practice includes ADR and he has acted as an arbitrator and mediator in a significant number of commercial disputes. He is a member of LEADR’s advanced panel of mediators and a member of the AMINZ panel of mediators.

Raewyn Fox - Consumer Representative

Raewyn Fox has been the CEO of the New Zealand Federation of Family Budgeting Services Inc. since 1999. Raewyn has worked in budget advice for 20 years starting as Manager of the Porirua Budget Service. She has held numerous Governance roles in the community sector, and governance roles including Foundation Member of Community Trust of Wellington, Consumer Representative on the ISO Board and membership of the Task Force on Regulation of Financial Intermediaries.

Bruce Cronin JP - Consumer Representative

Bruce is a chartered accountant with a management degree from Victoria University and a post graduate degree in Social Science. He is a senior trustee of the NZ Trustees Association, the Trust Manager of Baytrust and Deputy Chair of the Tauranga Energy Consumer Trust. He has been extensively involved with community groups and has been a JP since 2005.

Darren Pratley - Industry Representative

Darren Pratley is currently the CEO and Chairman of the New Zealand Mortgage Brokers Association and has been nominated as the representative of The Financial Advisor Association of New Zealand (FAANZ) on the board of FSCL. Darren holds a Bachelor of Commerce and Management and has worked in the financial services industry for 15 years.

Leonie Wallwork - Industry Representative

Leonie Wallwork has her own consultancy business specialising in strategic HR and change management, organisational development and learning and professional development strategies. More recently, Leonie has been a lead consultant in assisting financial services and industry training organisations to implement the new regulatory framework, especially with regard to professional competency and compliance for financial advisers, brokers and Qualifying Financial Entities. Leonie has worked at senior levels from CEO and Managing Director of a medium sized business to national and area manager roles for large corporates mainly in the financial services sector. Leonie has a Bachelor of Business majoring in human resource management.
