Kenneth Johnston - Independent Chair
Kenneth is a Wellington barrister and past Chairman partner of Minter Ellison Rudd Watts. He specialises in commercial litigation. His practice includes ADR and he has acted as an arbitrator and mediator in a significant number of commercial disputes. He is a member of LEADR’s advanced panel of mediators and a member of the AMINZ panel of mediators.
Raewyn Fox - Consumer Representative
Raewyn Fox has been the CEO of the New Zealand Federation of Family Budgeting Services Inc. since 1999. Raewyn has worked in budget advice for 20 years starting as Manager of the Porirua Budget Service. She has held numerous Governance roles in the community sector, and governance roles including Foundation Member of Community Trust of Wellington, Consumer Representative on the ISO Board and membership of the Task Force on Regulation of Financial Intermediaries.
Bruce Cronin JP - Consumer Representative
Bruce is a chartered accountant with a management degree from Victoria University and a post graduate degree in Social Science. He is a senior trustee of the NZ Trustees Association, the Trust Manager of Baytrust and Deputy Chair of the Tauranga Energy Consumer Trust. He has been extensively involved with community groups and has been a JP since 2005.
Darren Pratley - Industry Representative
Darren Pratley is the former CEO and Chairman of the New Zealand Mortgage Brokers Association and is a nominated representative of the Financial Advisers Association of New Zealand (FAANZ). Darren holds a Bachelor of Commerce and Management and has worked in the financial services industry for 15 years. Darren is currently Director of Home Loans at TNP and a director of his own mortgage broking business, The Home Loan Group (NZ) Ltd.
Roger J Kerr - Industry Representative
Roger Kerr is a Partner in PwC New Zealand. He was formerly a director and one-third shareholder in Asia-Pacific Risk Management Ltd and has over 30 years' merchant and investment banking experience. PwC purchased the business of Asia-Pacific Risk Management in October 2012.
Roger is regarded as one of New Zealand's leading professional advisers and commentators on local/international financial markets, the New Zealand economy and corporate treasury risk management. Roger is also well known as a commentator on business, market and economic affairs through his daily radio slot on Mike Hosking Breakfast show on Newstalk ZB.
Roger was a member of the Board of Trustees of the National Provident Fund from June 2003 to May 2012 and was Board Chairman of charitable trust service provider Trust Investments Management Ltd from 2004 until October 2012.
